Established in 1983 to cater to the educational needs of the wards of Central Government employees.KendriyaVidyalaya, PragatiVihar has already shifted to its new and beautifully constructed building in the beginning of the session 2003-2004.Its campus is spread over an area of four acres in prestigious institutional cum residential area of Lodhi Road. It has adequate facilities for educational and co-curricular facilities for about twelve hundred students. At present it has a staff strength of 40 members.
